She has a Masters in Public Heath (MPH), Epidemiology, Reproductive Health and Biostatistics from Kenyatta University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSc N) degree from the University Of Nairobi. Prof \u00a0Has practiced in various clinical set ups nationally and internationally at various levels. She has been an active researcher and trainer of health care professionals as well as being an active research supervisor. Besides she has participated in health promotion through various programs in and out of academia. Mwangi, Ph.D<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<em>Lecturer , Maseno University and a distinguished Communication, Medea Policy and Governance expert the immediate former CEO of the Media Council of Kenya. <\/em>Haron Mwangi has an accomplished career in media and communication practice. He is an expert with extensive experience in media governance, freedom of expression, access to information, media policy and regulation, media innovation, and sustainability. He has successfully offered leadership in media law and policy, legislative processes, and building consensus between the media, civil society, and governments on media regulation systems in Africa. He has extensively trained in media freedom and democracy in Africa and Europe and has consulted widely in areas of access to information and open governance in both the private and public sectors. He has also researched extensively in media economics, the role of civil society, and media coalitions in media reforms and democracy in Sub-Saharan Africa. He is the immediate former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Media Council of Kenya (MCK) and has taught at universities in Kenya, South Africa, and Rwanda. He holds a PhD and an MA in Media and Communications from the University of Nairobi and he is a lecturer of Media and Journalism at Maseno University<\/p>\r\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" id=\"about-speaker3\" class=\"wp-image-922 alignleft\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==\" data-layzr=\"https:\/\/spuconferences.spu.ac.ke\/spuarc2025\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/speaker-3.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"320\" height=\"352\" \/> <strong>Prof. Karuti Kanyinga<\/strong> Prof. Karuti Kanyinga is a Research Professor at the Institute for Development Studies (IDS), University of Nairobi. He is an accomplished development researcher and scholar with extensive international experience and exposure. He has carried out many research programmes and projects in Kenya and several countries in Africa for abut 30 years. He has published extensively on development and governance and is renowned for his contributions to scholarship and knowledge in governance and politics of development in Kenya and \u00a0Africa in general. Prof. Kanyinga is renowned particularly for his extensive research and publications on ethnicity and inequality in Kenya, devolution and development; and politics of development in general. He has participated in many international conferences and events and presented papers on devolution, governance and development issues. He has served as a resource person in governance, project planning and implementation, among others, for many international organizations. He has made intellectual contributions to the society through participation in community development efforts as well as providing intellectual insights on many national and international issues. He has served as a resource person for many organizations in Africa. \u00a0 <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" id=\"about-speaker4\" class=\" wp-image-944 alignright\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==\" data-layzr=\"https:\/\/spuconferences.spu.ac.ke\/spuarc2025\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/Speaker-4.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"315\" height=\"342\" \/> \u00a0<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Prof. Esther Mombo<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Prof. Esther Mombo is a distinguished theologian and a Full Professor at St. Paul&#8217;s University in Limuru, Kenya, where she has also served in senior management positions including Academic Dean and Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academic Affairs. She holds a PhD from the University of Edinburgh, an MPhil from Trinity College, Dublin, and a Bachelor of Divinity from St. Paul&#8217;s University. She teaches Courses in World Christianity and women\u2019s theologies.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Her research areas are in the intersection of women, culture, and religion in African contexts from an advocacy perspective. In her research and advocacy, she frames her theological work within broader development and justice concerns associated with the SDGs. He holds a Ph.D. in Agriculture with another in Translation in progress. A sworn translator-interpreter (Romanian, English, French, Italian), he brings over 22 years of experience in teaching and language mediation.
